Tesco mobile

Hi guys, I'm starting work with Tesco in a few weeks and it's part of the Tesco Mobile phone shop. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what the uniform is like for the phone shop and also what should I wear until I get it?.

I think you've posted this in the wrong place OP. This is the live competitions board. Where did you mean to put it?

Go on google, type "Tesco Phone Shop" and click on "Images" to see lots of photos of staff.

Hi guys, feeling a bit confused. I had an interview with Tesco about 3 weeks ago for a job in the phone shop. I was successful in the interview and the manager phoned me too offer me the position which I accepted, I'm still waiting to have my induction but today I received the rejection email from the career centre.

Dear Paul,Thank you for applying for the role of Customer Assistant - Phone Shop - Part Time. After careful consideration, unfortunately we will not continue your application to the next stage. However, we do consider every application individually so if you find another role that you think would be right for you, please don't hesitate to get in touch again.Click here to explore some other opportunities.Best Regards, The Tesco Resourcing team.

Can anyone give me any advice as I'm really puzzled by this. Thanks

Phone the manager and ask him if he knows when your induction is. Don't mention the email.

But shouldn't the manager have been the one too make the decision and then tell the careers website as he interviewed me and offered me the position?

Debating that on here won't tell you whether you've still got the job or not - asking the manager will !
It could be any sort of screw up - maybe he didn't submit whatever he needed to do to tell "the system" that he's given you the job, maybe the decision has been changed by someone above him, it could be anything.....
The only way you'll know is to ask him,

Phoned the manager today, there has been a mix up with the emails and the job is mine. Induction is Wednesday and I'll start next Monday :)
