Is one person wanting to stay in the property?
Are they able to take a mortgage in their own name for the amount outstanding + 50% of the equity?
Would the other person to be happy to remain on the mortgage and wait until it is sold at a later date to get their share of the equity?0 -
There must be 50 ways to do this.
Don't leave one person in the property (still in both names) with the other person relying on them to pay - that is the main point.I am a Mortgage Broker
