Credit rating damaged after dispute with bank

I recently had a dispute with my bank regarding my mortgage. I refused to pay some amounts they claimed were due, and the bank eventually reported the issue to the credit rating agencies, damaging my status. Although I have now won the dispute following a finding by the FOS, I'm wondering what I can do to revive my formally good credit standing. Do I have any recourse against the bank?
