Application Error?!?!

Applied to precise mortgages, all good apart from I've realised that I've actually lived at my current address for over 3 years. I thought I'd moved in in August 2012 when it was actually April??? Have no idea how I got so confused but can back this up... However am worried they wont listen if my broker tries to change the application? Only went in for processing today.... Help? Make me feel better... And less stupid?! :(

Dont worry, your broker can alter the address.

Even if they've already started processing? Can't believe I've got it wrong... Have bank statement and online order proving billing address in April 2012 is that enough? Thanks!!

If the app has gone in you have passed the credit check. They may come back and ask why the dates you gave differ to the credit report but it will be changed before it even gets assessed so dont worry about it.

Just follow your brokers lead but you this is not worth worrying about over the weekend. If anything the info you gave is worse than the true story - that means its not something you would intentionally lie about so you will be fine.

Seriously, just put this to the back of your mind it is sorted with 20 minutes work from your broker. You may even find if it gets credit checked again you get better rates (I say may as you never know).

As the date quoted was under 36 months ago they will have already been given your previous address.

Nothing to worry about - make your broker aware, that's all.
