Credit clean up

Any advice anybody can offer would be much appreciated
I went br a couple of years ago and have now been ad. I am trying to clean my files up and have all 3 reports
Also I'm cleaning up my wife's files and don't understand a couple of things. She only had 3 debts, so we didn't file for her br at the time. One was a cc in her name, which has defaulted & we're paying the dca, one was the joint overdraft with Natwest, and one was a joint loan with Mint.
Natwest is showing defaulted on mine then settled at ad, whilst on her file it is showing as defaulted by outstanding (I understand that bit). However they have never tried to collect anything from us. The default was June 2011. Does the 6 year rule on collections start from the default date or the last time we paid them any money? The credit file only shows info from June 2011 and we must be very close to the six years now. Also, despite it being a joint account and all letters to me coming to the home address, it is still showing at a previous address for my wife. Would this impact the 6 years?
The mint loan is really confusing me. This was definitely a joint loan, and a CCJ is showing for me. However it is not showing at all on my wifes file, either as a credit commitment or a ccj. I am 99% certain mint filed a ccj for both of us, I have just done an online CCJ search with the court and it is also saying she has none. Can we just forget about this one, or could they come back in the future? Again it is about 5 years since I made any payments but CCJ was registered just before my BR, about 3 years ago.
Sorry to go on for so long - thanks in advance for any help
