Remortgaging new job

Have been a student for past 3 yrs and have now been offered a job, Starting august.
Just wondered whether i cld remortgage now based on having a job lined up, or is it best to wait til ive been employed for a few months? How many months wld be ideal?
My mortgage deal came to an end 6m ago and we went onto svr (which was cheaper than the 5yr fix wed been on with nationwide)
I have cc debt of about £12k that was built up whilst a student and was considering adding this to the mortgage, without changing current term (9yrs to mf). i doubt i could pay it back in less than 5yrs if i got a separate loan for the £12k, and if i did find i had spare cash, i cld always overpay the bigger mortgage.
I currently have about £30k outstanding on mortgage, with house value of £250k, so looking to remortgage for £45k tops
Wld it still be worthwhile getting a broker on such a small amount? In the past, Ive always just searched highstreet banks/BS myself

Forgot to say i have some missed payments on a storecard. Stupidly didnt have DD set up, and occasionally forgot to make a payment. Might have happened two or three times over the past 3yrs, but balance was cleared the following month, as soon as i realised id forgot to pay. Other than that, i clear the balance every month
Current account has also occasionally gone into red but never on a regular basis0
