Hiya. Be careful! If you find anything you are interested in, check back here with folk, and also check for UK certification.
If you're talking about some sort of charger, for small items, car battery top ups etc, then that's one thing. But beware anything that suggests an inverter that plugs into a mains socket.
Obviously, it's not a good idea to have anything with protruding pins, that could carry a leccy current - think of a cable extension connector where the female should always be on the end with the plug, and the male on the end connected to the lawnmower (for example).
If you check for G83/1 compliance I'm pretty sure that any PV system (or micro gen) connected to the mains has to go via an inverter that is hard wired into your consumer unit.
Also, and kind of goes without saying (possibly) if you grid-tie any micro gen, then you will need to notify the DNO, and the paperwork signed off by a qualified electrician.
Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
