Halifax Offer Accepted

Hi
This is my first post on MSE. We are in the process of moving, and have found out this morning Halifax have agreed the lending and we will receive our offer in the post shortly.
I am just slightly worried as I have checked my experian account, and they dont appear to have done a hard check, only a soft one at the point of AIP.
Should I expect them to do one before completion?
