Hi folks
So applied for DIP via broker and this has been referred today which is disappointing but no news is good news at the moment. But way under affordability, 10% deposit, good salary, no issues with credit file although regular use of over draft (never been over limit), debt but plan to clear on or before completion which broker was comfortable with. So generally should be a good case but seems they want to look into it further. Is this normal ? Nationwide Mortgages by the way.
Are they picky or difficult to actually get a mortgage with ?
I guess I was just expecting an accept subject to full application and valuation process etc!!

I had my DIP referred by Nationwide last week, and was quite surprised about it too! Sent them a bank statement via the broker and then a day or two later the DIP was approved.0
