Selling Vinyl Records

Hey. My Grandad died about 17 years ago now and in the inheritance was roughly 300 Vinyl Records. We placed them in the loft and basically forgot about them. Since we are having it re insulated we have had to empty the loft, uncovering these forgotten records.
We have a few good ones such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Tom Jones and a few others but we also have some that many vinyl website don't even list.
Can anybody recommend a good website that I can sell these on in bulk or would you recommend individually selling via Ebay?
Also what kind of packaging do I need when posting? Would simple bubble wrap and brown paper do or will I need to get proper packages for them.
Thanks in advance.

If you sell them as a job lot, you're going to get a reasonably low price for them but they'll go quickly. If you try to sell them individually, it's more work but more chance that any unusual ones might get a decent price. The problem is that if they're not absolutely mint condition, the prices will be low if you can sell them at all.
I have in mind one or two vinyl records that I know are worth money, and I keep an eye open at my local car boot sales for them. However as soon as I see a pile of vinyl just shoved in a box, or on a pile on the damp grass, it's not worth spending time as they won't be mint so pretty much worthless. Keep in mind when describing them, there are some quite strict definitions of what is actually "mint" - have a look in "Record Collector" magazine for some ideas, they used to define the terms at the start of their once-massive listing section in each magazine. In fact, if you have anything you think might be valuable, that might be a place to advertise as that's bought by collectors as the name implies.
You can get proper posting cardboard packs - I used to buy a lot via mail order and that's how they would come to me. But a layer of bubble wrap and a decent corrugated card outer is probably enough - last time I sold some I sent them out in 17" LCD monitor boxes, but it puts the postage up as the box weighs more than the record.1
