I used the free credit expert 30-day trial the other day to check my Experian file. I have been discharged from my bankrupcy in February this year however my file still shows several of my debts that were part of my bankruptcy. I thought they should be removed.
Can anyone offer any advice as to what I should do?
Thanks
Diane

Debts that were included in your bankruptcy will not "disappear" from your Credit Reference Files for six years from the date of the bankruptcy order.
However they should have the default on the account dated no later than the date of the bankruptcy order, and be marked in some way to show that they were satisfied at a date no later than the date of your discharge.
Please see: http://bankruptcy.informe.com/credit-reference-file-clean-up-ae-post-bankruptcy-dt192.html
which will show you what correctly updated records should look like, and what to do if they don't.
Hope that helps.

Nope. They stay there until they drop off the file after 6 years.0
