Obviously the delay has us concerned, so I'm trying to grasp onto every positive I can - so I guess knowing that a lender wouldn't instruct a survey if there was any chance they'd not issue an offer is small comfort

If surveys weren't instructed until the other boxes were fully ticked. The process could potentially take far far longer.

The actual survey itself took around 6 weeks to be instructed. Now we're around 5 weeks after that and we're waiting on the Woolwich processing this "final" document that they requested from the buyer. This was requested 2 weeks ago and we're still waiting. The not knowing is soul destroying.
