A lovely kind friend, knowing how much I love my vanilla coffee and how expensive it is, has given me a whole litre of vanilla syrup! Im sure it wont last for ever and I only dzrink a coupke of cups a day. Any ideas on other uses for this delicious stuff? Apart from just taking the cap off and smelling it that is!

How high is the sugar concentration? It probably will last forever...alternatively you could freeze it in smaller bottles.Credit card respend 2551.58 (15/02/17)0

add it to supermarket ice cream? for a touch of luxury? use it instead of vanilla essence in cake recipes?0

it should have an enormous shelf like - sugar syrup is a preservative. If you are concerned you could keep the bottle in the fridge but it shouldn't be necessary and it should last for years.0
