Sorry for all the questions, I'm trying to get my head around this minefield of dodgy info.
As I posted in another thread I've been quoted &.5k for a 4kw solar system 14 panels 14 micro inverters. how does that compare ?
Now i've asked if it will do hot water, answer yes ( extra spend 1.5k) if we fit a hot water tank, I asked how this would affect the combi boiler, answer
was, we would still have to draw hot water though the boiler but it would only fire up if its not up to temp.
Is This right

Be interested in the solution you come up with for the tank vs combi situation, I have the same issue, seems that the tank may need to be pressurised.0

I think the new water tank would have to have a pump to send water to the combi. I don't know just guessing,I'm out of my comfort zone with all this. :embarasseJane x0
