Garnier Micellar Water - any good?

I read an article that stated French woman "only use Micellar water" on their faces, never wash it. I know that's an overstatement, but I'm thinking about buying a bottle of the Garnier water to try it out.

My question really, has anyone had success with it-better skin?

TIA x

Yes! I read the same article. The garnier one was first one I picked and horrified myself with the hidden dirt that came away even after my usual cleansing routine. It's been amazing especially on my nose. :) I'm currently using a Botanics one but I'm finding that one a little drying. Xx

i've been using micellar water (have tried garnier/l'oreal & no.7) for a few months now, i only use it when i have little or no make-up on & still use my regular cleanser to remove make up. can't say it's made any difference to my skin but hasn't caused any issues either & i'm happy that it's doing it's job.

I have been using it since I started to wear more makeup about 6/8 months.

I did not like creamy removal stuff near my eyes.

I find it does a good job.

If you have a savers near by try them about £3 a bottle.

I use this and find it fab, even gets my benefit mascara off and that's a job in itself, great stuff would recommend

I use the Garnier one for make up removal, including eyes. It's really gentle and means I don't need a separate eye make up remover product. The Garnier has been on offer in Superdrug for ages and is the best value one I've found.
  • Thanks for the advice everyone, I'll be buying a bottle of the Garnier one at Superdrug at the weekend :) x

I switched from make up removal wipes to this Garnier product. It removes make up better and one bottle last nearly 4 months. It is really efficient.

I have tried a few different Micellar water brands (Caudile, L'Oreal, Garnier...) and found the Garnier to be the most effective at removing dirt. I use mine as a toner as I just don't get that clean feeling when I use anything on a cotton wool pad.

I have moved to the Garnier Micellar wipes at the moment though as they were on offer at Superdrug (2 for £2.73 and less 10% student discount ;)) I really like the wipes- they work really well, if they carry on being on offer I think I'll use these instead.
  • it's great i use it after cleansing with thick and creamy cleansers. i use if in the morning to remove any lingering moisturizer. there is no hope it will remove mascara for me, its really useful.
  • It's fab , great for using before bed.

I have sensitive skin and have never had a problem.

    great price too.
