Walked out after 11months of employment

Hiya

Walked out of my job some would say this is stupid but it feels great I actually feel relieved and not worried at all which is odd really considering bills still have to be paid.

Anyhow the reason for walking is every week for the past 11 months I have been paid late by at least 24hrs however my last payment was over a week late and was short. I am contracted to 37.5hrs a week but my last 2 wages I was only paid for 30hrs when I questioned this is was told I had only clocked in for that amount of time. Yes this maybe true however I've clocked out early because we have been told to go home as work is has been dead for the last few weeks with some days having no work to do at all.

Just wanted to know what you guys thought/ would do I worked a week in advance plus I I'm owed around 7 days holiday which I have not used.

Can my employer just reduce my wage like this without informing me?
Can they just pay me late every week with no comeback on them?

I'm off to speak to a friend of mine later who is a gmb rep I also have a family friend who is an employment lawyer but unfortunalty they are on holiday for 4 weeks.

You are entitled to a payslip.

Have they been deducting income tax and NI?

You went home early and you expect to be paid for the whole day? This should be good.

Well keyboard warrior if you are able to read it does say we were told to go home as all the work had either been completed or no work left to do. So if you have come here just for attention may I suggest to go and find someone else to annoy as u want be getting another response from me you muppet

So, you got paid for the hours you worked (based on your 'clock on/clock off' times)? Your employer is unlikely to pay you to sit around doing nothing if there is no work available for you to do.
