I've been using Ben nye for a while, it's ok, but not amazing.
I have used bare minerals mineral veil before, that's really nice.
Used Laura mercia too - was ok.
I was thinking about trying make up for ever HD powder anyone tried that?
Even looked at Mally evercolor poreless face defender (like a gel powder), but I think I want traditional.
Am I missing out on any great long lasting powders?

Now the thing is there are actually different powders for different things.
Setting powder sets your makeup and helps it last.
Finishing powder which gives the glow and HD look.
I am not oily so can use finishing powder as and everyday thing.
I used to love T LeClerc Banane which is pale yellow, they do other colours depending what your skin tone and finish. Yellow tones down redness, lilac brightens etc.
Chantecaille do a HD compact powder which is £60+, never tried it.
Nars so a loose and a compact powder which is white(don't worry it blends into the skin tone and is flawless), I used the loose and loved it. It has no talc in it.
At the moment using By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder, again no talc. It is again white but is totally invisible matt. I love it no pores no lines, just flawless looking skin.0 -
I've been searching for a face powder for quite a while. Ive narrowed it down to two.
Estee Lauder Lucidity (like the luminosity it offers but I'm not sure it would last on me)
Estee Lauder Doublewear Stay in place powder (like the long lasting coverage it offers but I'm not sure my face would look too matt).
I'm going to visit the makeup counters soon for a trial run. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
mally face defender is brilliant for me, doesn't suit everyone though, lots of reviews here. get the application technique sorted & it makes your make up look flawless again half way through the day.0
