LA Fitness - Pure Gym

I just got an email from LA Fitness reference them being taken over by Pure Gym I wanted to personally advise you that our business - LA fitness - was acquired by Pure Gym Ltd last week. This transaction was announced on Friday and, as you may have seen, a number of articles appeared in the press over the weekend.
Pure Gym is the largest operator of gyms in the country both by number of clubs and number of members. Pure Gym has a strong track record of investing in the clubs that they own and they have exciting plans for the future. I am confident that our facilities and members will benefit from Pure Gym’s investment and attractive proposition.
The acquisition has been completed and LA fitness is now legally owned by Pure Gym Ltd. However, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) have announced that they will review the transaction to assess the impact of the deal on the degree of competition in the marketplace. Until approval – which may take a number of months - is given by the CMA, the two businesses will operate totally separately.
At the current time, therefore, there are no immediate plans for changes to any of our clubs and you should expect to see the club (or clubs) you use operate in exactly the same way as normal.
Can I get out of my contract at this stage?
Thanks
