Strange email from Sainsburys

I've received a seemingly random and strange email from Sainsburys customer services and was wondering if anybody else had the same email:
Subject - Thanks for bearing with us
Dear *my real Name*
I hope you are well. I just wanted to drop you a line, to say thanks for bearing with us whilst we had some challenges in store recently. You may have seen the coverage in the news and the press about a fire at one of our depots recently. We worked really hard to get things back on track as quickly as we could, but I recognise you may not have been able to buy everything you wanted to recently.
I am really pleased to tell you that things are now back to normal.
As a thank you for your patience I've added £5 in nectar points on to your card, which I hope you will enjoy using when you next pop in to the store.

if yes then its legit. If not its a scam0 -
Don't click on any links they've included in the email. Check your Nectar account online independently, if you really want to know if it's genuine or phishing, I guess.Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

for what its worth - Tunc Adsoy is the sainsburys manager at a London store .

Not my local store, but I do use that Sainsburys store, being just outside Waterloo station has its benefits.
Blimey, I've been given an extra 1000 points, that is completely out of the blue, seeing as I hardly use Sainsburys for anything other than meal-deals & newspapers.0 -

Doesn't look like they're asking anything of you in the email other than shopping in Sainsburys again ever in your life. If you do go to Sainsburys then just check your receipt to see if any additional points have been added. But even if they're not, I see no mention of a link or steps to follow. Call or email Sainsburys customer service if your worried but the email looks pretty safe to me being that there are no links or hoops to jump through (unless you count returning to Sainsburys a hoop).0

Bizarrely my OH got this email too and has had the points added. I didn't get anything
We alternate using the cards.
