Hey guys,
I'm wanting to get a £5000 loan from my bank but I have a default on my credit file. It is 3 and a half years old and for the meagre amount of £212. I have tried in vain to persuade Vodafone to remove it but since it was put on correctly they won't budge. Just wanting people's advice on whether HSBC would give me the loan since I am an advance customer already. If anyone has done anything similar please let me know. My credit score is 780 (fair) not that it means anything.
Thanks in advance.

For information, I have not missed a payment since this and currently have an overdraft and mobile phone contract.

Any reason why you have not paid off the meagre amount owed?
