    Oh well, another wave of colds calls, offering employee pension products on the way.

    Probably not the average person employing a nanny on £20-25k per year.

    I'd imagine the vast majority of carers are not directly employed by one person so the number affected is likely to be very small.
    Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

    According to the radio over the weekend those who have taken the direct payment from the council to then choose their own care (rather than accept whatever the council provide) who are classed as the employer and have to pay the employer's contributions.
