Quick question :
Is there a conflict if a board member of a company or a charity is in a personal relationship with a Chief executive officer of the same company.
Is that permissable or is there no clear rules on this.

People are free to form relationships with whoever they like (obviously excluding certain categories such as children!).
Depending on the size of the organisation they should probably have a policy for managing conflicts and a register, the relationship should generally be declared as a potential conflict.0
