Mortgage app and late/missed payments

Hi,

Completing mortgage forms this week as they have been sent out. I done it over the phone, they asked about if we had been in arrears on any financial commitments. I told them I had some missed payments on CC in 2007 which he said thats not a problem, he then went through my partners details but didnt actually ask that question about her. We both have no debt.

So the forms have come out and the sections have been marked for no financial arrears when technically we have. I have some from 2007 and my partner has some from 2012 and 2013.

Should we change the forms and declare the missed payments or just leave them off???

The forms do appear to focus more on the last 12 months but are open about further back than that

They will want to know about the ones from 2012-13 I imagine.

    Who is the lender?
What are the late/missed payments on? (credit card/mortgage/loan?)
What is the purchase price/loan amount?

I thought that might be the case. The lender is Yorkshire Building Society and purchase price is £90k with 10% deposit.

The missed payments are on a credit card.

I think i'll change the paperwork to show the missed payments or atleast add a sentence on the application to make sure they are declared
