Metal Roof Remortage

I live in an ex council flat, and have just finished my initial 2 yr fix with Santander.
I tried to get a remortgage with Coventry Building Society, the property got valued higher than needed, but they declined due to the roof of the block being metal sheeting.
I am wondering if anyone knows what companies will allow these roofs as Santander 'retention' deals are not as good as the new customer deals other lenders are offering, and I do not want to start another application which may get declined?
