Can't see a thread so hoping no one minds me starting one.


Monday humus with grated carrot and salad bagels, tandoori chicken with salad, rice and yoghurt dip
Tuesday tandoori chicken with rice salad, stir fry with noodles
Wednesday tuna salad bagels, fatijas
Thursday ham salad bagels,tuna fishcakes with broccoli now Bolognese from freezer to make stuffed courgette with garlic bread
Friday ham salad bagels, broccoli and chorizo pasta


Quick change as Mr T failed to deliver tuna. Have also swapped Tues and Wed around. Made banana pancakes with old bananas as trying to reduce food waste. Little cookie sick so pasta for us and bagels for DH.

    ooo, can I join? Veggie week this week. so:

    Mon: quorn fajitas
    Tues: bean bake
    Weds: tofu katsu & sticky rice
    Thurs: cheese & mushroom omelette & chips
    Fri: HM veggie pizza with wholemeal base

    Trying to get organised this week, need to empty my freezer over the next month...

    Mon 1st- Jackets spuds with carrots and broccoli. i will have tuna mayo and DD will have butter with 2 fish fingers on the side.
    Tue 2nd- Spag bolo (portion from the freezer) with garlic bread and broccoli.
    Weds 3rd- HM Pizza,chips and cucumber sticks (DD has a friend over).
    Thurs 4th- Chicken and vegetable stir-fry with noodles, sweet n sour sauce.
    Fri 5th- Salmon fillet/fish fingers, new potatoes, peas and corn-on-cob
    Emergency Savings #73 = £1,500/£2,000

    Already eaten 2 of the meals planned for this week
    Mon - Chicken fajitas
    Tues - Pasta with chicken sweetcorn & cheese sauce
    Wed - kids LO pasta, adults Jacket potatoes
    Thurs - need a rethink on this, was supposed to be pasta but 3 days in a row seems a bit much for the kids
    Fri - Tacos
    Sat - all at a party
    Sun - Roast pork, veg etc

    Monday: bit naughty had Chinese takeout
    Tuesday: LO HM pasta sauce from the freezer with pasta
    Wednesday: Broccoli and Stilton soup with ys baps
    Thursday: Spicy quorn wraps with salad
    Friday: Coconut lentil dahl with rice
    Saturday: Broccoli and kale macaroni cheese
    Sunday: Mushroom Stroganoff with rice
