There is one prize of a three night stay at Hilton Garden Inn Istanbul Golden Horn, Turkey for two people and the promotion is open to readers of The Independent and i, and readers of their sister paper The Evening Standard. Includes return economy flights from a UK mainland airport to Istanbul. Includes breakfast and dinner for one night with a bottle of house wine. The winner will be the first entry selected at random after the closing date and will be contacted by 16 June 2015. Travel needs to take place within a year of the winner being notified. Hi, I found it via an Advanced search with: Istanbul

Hi, the pm went through fine when I sent it.

He also still shows as a BG on the board ie:

I can assure you that was not the case when I sent the pm or I would not have posted as I had.

As far as I am concerned the pm has been sent & a note added re the recipient.That is all that is required of the generaal membership re asking for a merge.

Maybe the OP could edit the title if the merge is not carried out as quickly as you seem to desire.

I will leave this thread now as not a lot more can be said, I feel.

I am not concerned if the thread has been merged - the reason I asked was that I had just tried to PM a BG about moving incorrectly listed posts from "Regular" to the main forum ...... when I found out that they had the PMs switched off I searched to see if any more PMs had been sent to him recently.

Maybe you could email MSE Admin re your concerns as they will be able to provide a defintive answer as I am not in a position to give such as that.
My reply would be just personal opinion, I feel.
