ideas with tinned sardines other than on toast

I'm on Slimming World (I cannot lose weight without a group) and discovered that canned sardines and mackerel into tomato sauce, brine or spring water are free.

I only ate them on toast. I am trying to be bread free.

How about mashed up and adding a little low sin cream cheese or cheese spread to make a pate and having with crispbread or chopped raw veg?

How about wilting some spinach/peppers/onions/fresh tomatoes in a pan, adding the tinned sardines then serving over rice with some fresh herbs. Sort of like a sardine ratatouille on rice?

    Or serve on spaghetti?
