P45 only got part 1

Hi all,
I recently ended two months of JSA and have started new job this week. I have received part 1 of the P45 from the job centre, but where is the part I need to send to my new employer? When I signed off over the phone I did tell them my new employee and address so would they have forwarded the other part on automatically?

Don't they would have done that, things could have changed with the employer, I'd fill in a p46 and give to the employer.0
