in Credit cards
Hi there,
Forum newbie, so please go easy on me.
I recently found myself being dragged into Debenham's with The Boss and we wound up buying a new 3 piece suite and allowed ourselves to be talked into taking out one of their credit cards to take advantage of the extra 10% discount.
We paid for the suite on the card and the bill has just arrived and this may sound like nothing now, but I tried paying £100 and when the confirmation appeared (after the transaction had gone through) it said I'd paid £98.
I've scoured their T's&C's but can't find anything about admin fees for paying your bill online.
I know it's only two quid but it's the principle that's annoying me.
Can anyone shed any light on this for me?
Thanks in advance.

System error, input error, memory error...
Check your bank statement and your Debs account to make sure they both say £100. Then raise a query with Debs.0 -
Thanks for that.
It's definitely not an "input error" and I'd already planned on checking the bank statement when the transaction appears but I was just wondering if anyone on here had a quick (definitive) explanation.
Thanks for your help.0
