My Geo solo II monitor showing on very sunny days even 3.98 kW but I got 3.5 kW system...is this possible? Or monitor is not very accurate?

Probably a tolerance on both the measuring and manufacturering sides IMHO :)

Sounds like an inaccurate monitor unless you are talking the split second when the sun comes out of the clouds?

I noticed my 4kW array averaged 4.6kW over 15 mins according to my inverter data. The amp's were at 19A too which is interesting as the breaker is 16A.

I can only assume its inaccurate or at certain times such as cool panels and with sudden sunshine it can spike

I have seen my 2.43 panels putting out over 2.43 for some periods, wiboth my monitors showing the same.
2.43 from 9 x 270 Trina panels. Samil solar river 2600 inverter. Due South. 30 pitch. East coast of Scotland just North of Forth bridge.

I had to have my MCB changed to 20A because at 16A it would trip occasionally. An MCB should always be rated higher than the expected current through it, so not sure why Solar electricians fit 16Amp anyway. I get that's the DNO limit for export, but that doesn't mean it should be that sized breaker! The breaker is there to protect the circuit (specifically the cable), not to restrict export to the DNO.
