Dear all, im new to posting on this site, but i urgently require some good advise.

Honesty being the best policy in every contact with the OR...
The pay rise in 'early may' shouldn't be a problem - you have 21 days from the actual date of receipt of the rise to let the OR know, given the bank holiday you are probably still fine with that, just call/email the OR as soon as you can. I believe the OR can see if there has been a change in your income via your tax records - if they look, and it sounds as if they have. So best get in touch asap. Just complete the SOA form and return it.
Re the bonus - if your income depends on having a reliable car then the OR will negotiate with you on expenditure. If you are able to demonstrate that the old car was past economical repair then that should be fine. The worst the OR can do is make you sell the car and get a cheaper one.
