I was offered some kind of alcohol which I refused. Also some delicious pork pie with Bramley apple on top, some kind of minty salad and, upstairs on the way to the caf!, I was offered a breakfast smoothie which was also delicious.


I was going to go in somewhere for lunch but these took the edge off my appetite so I didn't bother. I would definitely seek out the pork pie and the salad and could be tempted to have the smoothie next time I am in their caf!. It is freshly made but I think it would be a hit if it was sold downstairs as a take-away for passing shoppers. I think it was around 234 calories, so not bad and quite filling, I would imagine.

I had a taste of the sparkling apple & cucumber drink which may have included elderflower in it (can't remember). It was delicious and I'm sure would be very refreshing on a hot day.

They were also offering various meaty nibbles, but gave them a miss.
