Halifax mortgage application yesterday. We are existing mortgage customers looking to get a bigger house. Full application went through, just waiting for valuation now. Credit check passed with a2. Advisor said it would not be submitted to underwriter. Any reason why not?

Turns out that it is underwritten in branch.0
