London / North Acton

Not sure where to stick this thread... so here it is...

Can anyone give me some feedback on North Acton (station and area) and is it safe?

a relative will be doing a short (1 month) assignment there and I am afraid it's a bit dodgy for a young lad?

Any feedback?

I know South Acton very well and I guess it is the same as North Acton just use a small bit of common sense and your relative should be fine

I worked at North, South and Acton Town a few years ago. Not a bad area, no perceived general threat but as said, use common sense, as anywhere, couple of good pubs in Acton as a bonus. H/She should be okay.

I live in North Acton, and have never felt unsafe here. It's full of students in term time, but just about to clear out for the summer as they all go home for their holidays. Then it's a pretty quite little corner of London, really.
