mine will last for ages. But i'm not sure if thats what you mean. I wont be debt free till 20115 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
They usually last till you pay them- no offence, only joking.
Do you mean how long will it be till they stop chasing you, which is never or how long it is until they can no longer claim the debt, which they will try.
Perhaps you could try posting the situation as it is, it will be easier to answer.

You need to be a bit more specific I think for anyone to be able to give you a reply. Tell a little more and I am sure someone will be able to help.0

Do you mean, how long does a debt stay outstanding if you have not been paying and the creditor has not chased you for a certain amount of time ? Is it that length of time you are referring to?
I think it used to be 7 years 7 days but not sure if that is still true.
It is a bit unclear what you mean as the length of staying in debt to a creditor depends on the amount of the debt and the amount of it you are paying off each month.
I have been told that a creditor can only chase you a maximumo f once a month otherwise it is harrassment. (Interested to know if that is true)0 -
Situation -
3 or 4 debts of upto £500. All from a misspent youth about seven to ten years ago. Only ever here from one (capquest -hsbc debt). I was just interested to see if
a) my other debts will still be out there and the only reason they don't contact me is because I have moved house, changed number etc..
b) I spoke to cap quest once saying what are you talking about I'm not about to give you £500 send me some details. They responded with some court threats and still are two years later. Will they ever give up or take me to court?
c) Is there any legal limits on how long they can try and recover a debt? ie I had an unpayed phone bill about 15years ago, is there likely to be some debt collection agency holding this debt?
One last question I never want credit again and most of these debts are 90% charges and interest why should I cough up the money?0 -

They can come looking but should be statute barred
