Before we proceed

We are going with the CAB to help sort out our debts, I assume they do a DMP the same as CCCS or payplan, I'm not sure as my wife has to see them due to my work commitments.
Am I right in thinking the CAB will handle our situation in the same way CCCS or payplan will do?

I'm not sure to be honest, plenty on here have been to CAB though.

I'm with CCCS, and they're fantastic.
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

cheers, I'm not sure if we commit to CAB our options will be closed and as my wife is doing the leg work, it's hard for me to ask the right questions.

We couldn't do CCCS really as I've cleared any debts in my wifes name to save her credit rating and can therefore only take my income into account, so it's a bit more complicated. But worth a go if CAB is wrong for us.

The CCCS do exactly the same as the CAB and will take only your income into account if that's what you want.
My friend has his debts through the CCCS and his wife's income isn't taken into account, his is a complicated situation but the CCCS worked for him.
Good luck with whatever you do.
Debt at highest May 04 - £65,639.22 - Started DMP with CCCS 1st June 04 & now self managed DMP
Debt now 20th December 2015 £31677.13 Paid Off to date £33962.09 - just not going quickly enough!

Debt free date July 2024! I don't think so, it'll be going quicker than that!!!
