Another good reason not to waste time with twitter, the whole platform has gone beyond its useful life
And I have had two good days this year when I won prizes, 2 out of over 4,800 comps, not bad eh?
2025 Comps 8675: wins 7: value £1522
2024 Comps 13526: wins 13: value £14750 -
Basically we are pimping company's & blogs. We are very cheap labour they throw us the promise of winning something & we pimp away! lol0

This isn't the poor girls fault and I don't think she has any way of cheating on most Twitter comps. It is pretty poor when people are calling someone out because she is winning maybe think about how you would feel if it were you in her shoes and people saw you had a good run and were winning reguarly and then starting calling you a cheat or saying something wasn't right. We are all compers so maybe we should be congratulating the girl on finding a way others haven't to win more. It certainly isn't the girls fault if companies are choosing her for reasons they are not making clear in their terms.0

I think people who spend their time and effort entering competitions have every right to speak up if they feel they are being cheated, and to share this with fellow compers. I don't see anything nasty about it. I don't like bullies or bullying but that is not what the OP is doing here so chill.0

I agree totally, It does seem, quite often, that the same people seem to win over and over again, but in fact, most of the time, they are putting a heck of a lot more work in than I ever do. I occasionally think, aww, I wish I'd won that, but I always feel pleased for the person that did win.
I have seen a good friend of mine really bullied on twitter and called a cheat because she won a prize worth a lot of money, it really upset her. All she had done was follow the rules and retweeted.
I enter each competition with the same thought, somebodies going to win it, and maybe, maybe, this time it might just be me! :-)EXTRA GOOD LUCK EVERYONE FOR 2015. XXX

hmm the girl was basically called a scammer in the op's post! its ok to say in general about companies but this post is about calling a young girl out just cos she wins more than the OP and posting her twitter link etc is just bordering on bullyingTop wins - £10,000 lottery/daily mirror, £5000 asda vouchers, £1000 washing machine, 2 week canaries cruise, VIP trip to the olympics, 46" 3D TV, personal chef, kitchen aid mixer, £1000 tesco vouchers - latest prize £10,000 road trip with kit Kat0 -
SuperluckyDi ran a comp on tw as an experiment as to what she could see. She couldn't see all the retweets, and I'm sure she said those people with lots of followers seem to come out near the top of the automated programs you use to pick a winner. She was basically saying a twitter comp is not a fair comp.
I looked at the girls tweets quickly, she's won from amazon and Laura Ashley today, so it's not just small companies giving it to bloggers.0 -
From what ive seen over the past few years. Its how you appear in the search results that play a part in it. The more you are active by being mentioned/the more followers you have the higher up in the search results you appear so that would figure in blondofcarbs case as shes a blogger so gets mentioned a lot and has a lot of followers. She doesnt win every comp as not all companies use the same method.
The thing i dont get about her is that she literally blocks you for no reason. ive seen it alot on twitter, people complaining that theyre blocked when theyve had no interaction with her. Thats what i find most odd about it all.
But i do find this post unnecessary, its strikes me as a bit of witch hunt and unless someone links her here, shes will have no way of defending herself0 -

.
There was a recent comp (cannot remember which but it was not a small company) that ran on TW/FB and part of the blurb was if you entered by TW they do not always see all the retweets and if you entered that way you could contact them to make sure they had it.0
