Hi I am looking some advice on a self build mortgage. I'm looking to buy a shell of a house & finish the rest through a mortgage. Its a 2 story house with a conservatory & garage, & currently stands as just bricks & a roof, no windows, doors etc. it's currently on the market for £95,000 but there is a bid of £60,000 on it. How much of a deposit do you need for a self build mortgage, can you get higher than 85% LTV. Have you any recommendations on where I should look about one? How much do you think it would be to finish the house? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
