Employment Contract

Does an Employment Contract have to specify the number of hours expected to be worked.

Could it be worded for example "Flexible as agreed verbally between Employer & Employee"?

Many Thanks.

It could but that would, in effect, be a zero hour contract so you would have no guarantee of a minimum (or even any) hours.
