Hi there,

I have recently signed up for a course on Alison. It allows you to do free online courses. You can get a cetificate at the end of it.

Has anyone used Alison? If so what did you think of it and did you get a new job through completing and passing the course?

I have used it and although its good enough for updating yourself the courses aren't recognised by employers, although the fact that you updated yourself off your own back will carry some weight. I found they were incredibly simple but they do fatten up your CV a bit xx

I did their level 3 customer service course. I found it useful; as piglet said they aren't recognised by employers but they could be used to self teach new skills and/or keep your skills fresh.
