While I am on the subject I use to work for a firm in Manchester where my wage slip would say x amount but I was paid slightly less (simular situation) it only happened twice, but in a case like that who would be asked to pay a tax underpayment? Because the wage slips were technically right and showed deductions of tax but the net amount physically paid was different0
