Hi all,
i believe i have a huge problem... I'd been parking in a private car park for several months (P4 Parking managed by TNC) thinking that the parking charges were unenforceable and thus treated the demands for payment with contempt and ignored it. However, since the much publicised Beavis appeal court defeat I am worried that TNC will now commence court action for all those unpaid tickets I've received.. I have already received a final demand for payment and I'm not really sure what to do...any advice?

All you can do is wait and see if they launch legal proceedings.0

that seems to be the only option.... I will see how they go about recovering the January charges and will then decide how to proceed with the later ones...0

well it looks like they are going to be a bit late for driver liability (POFa 2101) , so DO NOT name the driver
actually , you have been speared by an unusual setup , P4 parking are nighthawk security , and then add TNC into the equation , they are also reg with the BPA , but are debt collectors as well0 -
As far as I know, TNC doesn't use an ANPR system so I guess one could hope that the issuing officer was sloppy and didn't take photos...other than that, I'm just sitting tight..0

actually I think have just spotted a funny thing , TMC call themselves parking , but they are actually TNC collections , they don,t actually do car parking , they have customers that are parking companies

I think they have sneaked past the BPA radar , by claiming THEY actually issue tickets , when they do not0 -
hmm...maybe I'm on to something here...0

there is another thread about TNC , the OP has received a ticket , I have just asked him for the correct name of the company it is from0

TNC are debt collectors and are on the BPA approved operators list as such. The OP's tickets are from P4Parking who simply use, as lots of others do a debt collector to do the pestering.
TNC have been around for years, they used to have a habit of requesting keepers details for none AOS members until someone dobbed them to the DVLA.
As there are multiple tickets P4Parking may give it a shot at court, TNC can't unless we see another bout of debt assignment.0
