New Enterprise Scheme - What Questions Come Up?

Hi All,

I've seen my personal advisor a few times and when I told her my idea of starting a computer/laptop/phone and tablet repair market stall she was happy with my idea and has asked me to spend three weeks putting everything down on paper then she will apply me to be interviewed by a business professional who will assess the idea, could anyone tell me what questions they have asked if you've already done it? I have found one post but it was a few years old so a lot could have changed since then.

I had to go through a number of iterations of my business plan, and questions included:


here the assessment team may want to know more about how goods will be sourced and how the items sold will meet with consumer legislation.

mostly, the questions were where I was vague and she was seeking more clarity


So:

• Further retail markets may be explored to ensure diversity and resilience the assessment team may require more information re: this.

The best advice I would say is don't worry - they are there to help you succeed.

Thanks for your reply, how have you found the scheme so far? I've actually come across mixed reviews. People have found that once the idea is accepted they see little if anything of their business mentor, and how have the workshops been? Are they helping you build a good business plan?
