Mortgage application and change in employment status

Options
I am planning to buy my first house later this year.

I've been self-employed as a web developer for the past 5 years. One of my clients who I've been working with for around 3 years has offered me a full time position.

I'd like to accept but I'm concerned about how this will affect my chances of getting a mortgage. Is moving from self-employed to employed full time likely to negatively affect me in the short/medium term?

No. It's likely to positively affect you if your salary is higher.

If, however, your average net profit over the last two years is more than your new gross basic salary, you will be able to borrow less.
