Moneybarn - new member
Hi Guys.
I have a quick question. I was going to buy a car from Car Giant on Friday night. I was accepted with Moneybarn for the full amount. However due to Car Giant being so incredibly pushy and trying to sell me every single extra under the sun i decided to walk out.
Anyway. I see on Moneybarn site that i can find a car from a dealership of my choice which i think is great. What i can't see from their site is this.
Once the finance has been agreed with Moneybarm, do they payout direct to me and then i pay the dealer or do Moneybarn pay direct to the dealer?
Thanks for anyone who can let me know.
Cheers
Craig

Sounds they are like the Fowlers finance showed on this week's Watchdog.
IMO they would pay the dealer but like you I can't confirm this.0 -
A quick google suggests they are indeed like Fowlers, they lend money at silly interest rates to people who really cannot afford to commit such funds.
The borrowers wouldn't if they didn't feel they absolutely need/deserve a shiny new car.
Representative rates 32.76% !!!!

I got offered car finance through Moneybarn after being declined from Renault finance.
That was 1 year ago,,,,since driving a 2011 plate clio.
Monybarn offered car finance when no other company would consider it!
Very happy:) the apr/payments are higher (no surprise considering i started dmp/step change 1/1/2 yrs earlier due to a few weeks unemployed (since working for over 20 yrs)
so now 35 remaining payments from 48
I'm delighted cause my 2011 clio fiew though mot this year less than 30k miles and from past experience I know it will get me to work for a few yrs (drove a o2 plate and traded it in over 90k miles)
I say Thank You Moneybarn for recognising that there is more to system's/credit historyReplenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0
