Pleased you got it sorted:D
Here it a snapshot of my dashboard on Tuesday which as you say, shows how the power usage curve follows the generation curve
Even though I do not have an iboost/Immersun, (I have a home made diverter)
you can clearly see where it grabs the excess solar power and
sends it to the immersion....until 16.00 when the water is hot:D
I really need to get out more:eek:16 Sanyo Hit 250s.4kWp SMA 3.8kWp inverter. SW roof. 28° pitch. Minimal shade. Nov 2011 install. Hybrid car. Ripple Kirk Hill. N.E Lincs Coast.0 -

Thank you, Lego. Your diverter is workingng well. Another good illustration!I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0 -
The firmware update killed my Wattson. But I have found out how to restore. I downloaded Wattson Settings software with the console tab and managed to restore.

I think my Wattson's being a bit optimistic?

Just made my second brew and sit down to read yesterday's paper, hmm... that doesn't look right!!4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.
Now with added Sunsynk 5kw hybrid ecco inverter & 15kWh Fogstar batteries. Oh Octopus Energy too.0 -

Mart
I am worried that you may be correct. The amount of electricity for which I am being charged could be the summation of the import and export.
Despite the bad press about OVO smart meters, I have ordered for Siemens to fit on June 15. I have taken the option to have the realtime measurements displayed on line.

Cheers. I nearly brought it up again when I looked at post #11 and saw that your import was 3.43kWh. I wasn't sure how you get from 106kWh (31x3.43) to 369kWh, your April import.
But chickened out of saying anything as one days figures can vary a lot. That post also had consumption as 18kWh, but I assume (?) that includes diversion ........ otherwise 369kWh makes slightly more sense in a lower generation month.
Edit: Silly question, but is it as simple as checking your import meter (each day) against your Watson results and seeing if it matches import, or import + export? M.

Thank you, Mart.
I will do some checks. I think that probably the Wattson is at fault here since I have seen considerable reductions in energy usage.
Anyway, I have opted for the Ovo Smart Gateway that will work in conjunction with the Smart Meter and plug into my router. The ACCURATE real time data should then be displayed online at MyOvo. Siemens will install on 15 June.
It seems that the Smart Meter still uploads periodic data via the 3G network but that the Smart Gateway replaces the in house handheld device.
It remains to be seen whether the system will provide solar information.
Curiously, an Ovo market survey that I completed asked me whether I would be interested in a system that monitored power, energy and solar usage, so I expect that the facility is round the corner.
The Wattson would be pretty much redundant if all this accurate information is readily view-able information were accessible on line.I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0
