Electoral roll not showing on credit checks

Hello, we're wondering if anyone could offer any advice. We want to apply for a mortgage but when we've checked our credit ratings it is showing we're not on the electoral roll. We joined the electoral roll straight after moving in March and have been told it could take about 6-8 weeks for the agencies to update their records. That time has now passed and still nothing is showing up.
Has anyone had any experience of how long it will take for this information to be updated? It's very frustrating as it is stopping us from making any progress, as we have already put notices of correction and dispute on there but we don't think there is any point applying until this is sorted as it has such an effect on the score. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

If you've previously been registering on the electoral roll every year, i.e. the past 6 years. A recent change should not be an issue. As it's the continual history that really matters.0

I have read on here from the various advisors, that adding notices of correction will defer a mortgage application immediately so probably better to remove them and wait for the update.
I have always been registered on the electoral roll every year at present address and previously owned homes, the CRA had not currently registered ? on my report until just this past general election (I think that may be because it was not on the published edition - which is optional). It's not always fail proof, so you should always check the 3 reports for issues/incorrect entries.
Did you register as an individual this year? That may be the reason as registration process changed this year and if you did do so, it will update or call them and query.0
