Beauty Therapy

Hi all,

I want to train as a beauty therapist but unsure as to what qualifications I need to work in a salon environment/from home/mobile?

If anyone has any training providers they would recommend, that would also be really helpful, I'm based in Kent and can only do part time courses.

Look at courses at your local college(s). You can probably find them online, but if not pop into your local college and pick up a course list, they should have one. You can always ask if not and you have the option to ask for more details about certain courses if you want.

They may have some specific courses in beauty (e.g. nails or make-up) as well as beauty courses that cover various areas.

I have looked at local colleges but they either don't do any beauty courses or only offer full time courses.

I have tried to look online at providers etc but it's just that I don't know which exact qualifications are required so it is difficult to commit!
