Problem Getting Loan / Other persons mail
Options
I purchased my home 3 years ago, and remortgaged once without no problems. Recently i have tried to get both a unsecured and secured loan, without any sucess, for home inprovements ect........
I have no mortgage arrears, No CCJ's, but until now, no problems with getting credit.
BUT - recently i opened post delivered to my property not addresed to me. (and i recall that i have thrown away letters for the said person for many months) The letter was from a mortgage company, stating that "she" was in arrears with a mortgage on another property and not mine. The property in the letter no longer exsits (I have been and checked, and its flat) but i keep getting letters to MY address, for her name.
Is this the reason why i cannot get credit any more?? If this is the case, how can i sort this.
Can anyone help?? - Thanks in desperation

I dont know but it might be worth following this up. You might also want to check your experien and equifax credit report. They say its worth checking every few years anyway0
