Best way to get to Wembley on Monday

Coming down to Wembley on Monday for middlesbrough football match. What is the best way of doing it. We are Thinking of Driving to watford, stanmore or edgeware station, getting tube into london then the tube to Wembley. Staying overnight and coming back very early Tuesday morning which is why we thought it would be better parking North london. Or does anyone have any better ideas. Also would it be better to stay in Wembley or come back out to where the car is parked. Wanting cheapish accommodation. Staying overnight so we can have a drink. Thank you for any suggestions.

Bagby,
Might be worth contacting Harrow Borough fc. They were very accomodating when my team, Bristol City, got to Wembley for the JPT final. Not sure what the deal is for overnight parking though but would say definitely worth an e-mail/tweet.
Hope you go up because I would love to see Albert Adomah get a chance in the Prem - as nice a guy as you could meet.
I can also offer you the same amazing advice my dear late dad gave me when we got to Wembley on a previous occasion. The advice was.....wait for it..... 'You'll have to park somewhere'!27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 50 -
Edgware is on a completely wrong line.
Stanmore would get you closest to the station (via Wembley Park station).
Watford Junction would get you to Wembley Central where it's a bit of a hike to the stadium (in Police convoy I expect).
Watford (Met), Croxley (Met) and Rickmansworth (Met) or Uxbridge also drop you at the Stadium station... as would any of the stops on the way... https://www.tfl.gov.uk/cdn/static/cms/documents/standard-tube-map.pdf
Try to sort out where you want to stay first and that it has parking (free ideally)... then the station/route will become obvious.0 -

Wembley Stadium Station is used by Chiltern services, which the OP will probably not be using.0 -

Wembley PARK Station is the one on the Met/Jubilee lines that I recommended. YOU mention this other Wembley station (Stadium) not me
I'll quote you again...Watford (Met), Croxley (Met) and Rickmansworth (Met) or Uxbridge also drop you at the Stadium station... as would any of the stops on the way.0
